Doctrinal Statement

   We believe........

1. The Holy Bible, both the Old & New Testament are the inspired and the only infallible authoritative Word of God, but that the New Testament is the exclusive book of authority. Everything that is necessary for the unconverted to do in order to become a Christian, and everything that is necessary for the Christian to do in order to go to heaven, are found in the New Testament.
2. God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. They are co-equal in existence and in essence.
3. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God who came to earth as Savior, crucified on the cross, raised bodily from the tomb, ascended into heaven, and coming again as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to take those who belong to Him.
4. The Holy Spirit is not a power but a person possessed with all divine attributes
5. The deity and the humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, and in His vicarious atoning death.
6. The Genesis account of creation and believe that man came by direct creation of God
7. The Bible teaches the plan of salvation. We should do what Jesus and the Apostles taught for the plan of salvation.
8. The church is God's institution for preaching the gospel of salvation, and it is the body of Christ.
   When an individual is saved and becomes a Christian, he or she is completely changed in intellect, affection and will. We believe that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is essential in order to live a faithful Christian life.
9. Faith, repentance, confession, baptism and Christian living are the five steps for salvation.
10. The civil government is of divine appointment and governors of  states and nations should be obeyed when the laws they seek to enforce are not in conflict with the Bible.
11. The church is the espoused bride of Christ made up of all born again believers of this present age.
12. Believers immersion baptism is a commandment of Jesus and it is essential for every one to become a Christian.
13. Observe the institutions of the Lord's supper on every Lord's day.
14. Bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, and the future reward of the righteous and the future punishment of the wicked.
15. Christ will descend with His church and establish His glorious and literal kingdom  for a thousand years on earth.
